Super chill spot, barbers are good chat and the haircut is amazing. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Puerto Princessa

Really friendly people here and excellent haircuts. I was lucky enough to get a walk-in but this place gets busy so definitely book if you can. AJ was very knowledgeable and took great care explaining what he thought was the best approach to the haircut. If you’re in Puerto Princesa this is the place to go to get a haircut. Will definitely be coming back if I’m ever back in town

Normally, I’m suspicious of extremely highly-rated spots, but in this case, the score is well-deserved. The barbers were friendly, accommodating, and highly skilled. They also wash your hair before proceeding with a final polish, which is often overlooked by so many salons, but is so vital. It’s so telling that the only negative reviews of this shop are review bombs stemming from queueing issues and don’t actually have anything bad to say about the services. And on that note, that is to be expected: the IslandCutz barbers are so good that they’ve become way too in-demand and are now suffering from their own success. So, dear reader, do them and yourself a favor and schedule those appointments well ahead of schedule instead of gambling on walk-ins.
